Release Notes 2019-03-19

There were no release notes for a while, so this one contains a set of significant features and improvements we have not announced here.

Features

  1. Everyone: JS widgets got many improvements: 
    1. Improved mobile themes so your integration looks good on all screens
    2. Photos and names of trainers in the list of workshops
    3. Support for user dictionaries. You can replace any text in the integration now.
    4. The Location filter on the list of trainers has changed. Before it filtered trainers by their country of origin. Now it filters them by the countries they work in.
    5. The URLs for trainer profiles got additional parameter name containing the full name of a trainer.
    6. The URLs for workshops are configurable now to improve SEO
  2. Everyone: WordPress plugin got several improvements:
    1. Improved mobile themes so your integration looks good on all screens
    2. Photos and names of trainers in the list of workshops
    3. The URLs for trainer profiles got additional parameter name containing the full name of a trainer.
  3. Everyone: KRW was added to the list of currencies
  4. Certification Bodies: certificate templates became customisable by users. To add a new template or change an existing one, you need only Microsoft Word.
  5. Certification Bodies: different types of workshops can generate different types of certificates
  6. Certification Bodies: number of trainers, supported by certificate templates, was increased from two to five
  7. Certification Bodies: you can have several types of licenses to assign to your trainers. 
  8. Certification Bodies: improved speed of the dashboard and the list of attendees
  9. Training Companies: support for certificate generation! Managers can add certificates templates, and Workshop Butler will generate certificates to attendees on their behalf
  10. Training Companies, Certification Bodies: the process of uploading photos for trainers was improved

Fixed Bugs

  • The customisation of registration form did not work correctly and could delete custom fields you added before. ✅
  • Both JS widgets and WordPress plugin did not render custom fields correctly ✅
  • When users had access to two accounts and lost access to one of them, they got an error on login in some rare cases ✅
  • Workshop Butler did not load all lists from your MailChimp account, so you cannot configure MailChimp subscription for some lists ✅
  • Workshop Butler did not work correctly in IE11 ✅
