Events with multiple sessions

This article is for training companies and all types of trainers.

Events with multiple sessions come in handy when you have a lot of information to cover. Instead of trying to squeeze all of it into a single training session, it would be much better to break the event program into pieces and schedule several sessions on different days.

In Workshop Butler, you can add multiple sessions to one event, specifying dates and titles for each particular session.

Important note: for now, it’s not possible to show multiple sessions on your website yet. You can use this feature to keep track of such events in your WSB account and add it to calendar invitations.

To add multiple sessions when creating an event, do the following:

1

Put a checkmark next to Multiple Sessions in the Schedule section:

2

Set the date, start and end times for each session.

3

Add a title for each section if you would like to.

You can add as many sessions as you need by clicking the +Add Session button.

Once the event is created, the information about the number of sessions will be displayed under the event title on the Event Dashboard. If you hover over it, you will be able to see the details of each session:

You can also see the number of sessions in the list of all events and in the Participation History of a particular attendee.
