Evaluation Status

Evaluation in Workshop Butler can have one of the several statuses. Each status defines some actions which should be done or have been done by the system or users. Let’s look at a whole picture first:


As soon as the attendee adds the evaluation, it gets Pending status. Workshop Butler sends a notification to the event facilitators that new evaluation appeared.

Now it’s up to you to decide what to do with the evaluation. They could either approve or reject it.


If a facilitator approves an evaluation, it gets Approved status.

Workshop Butler sends an email to the attendee notifying that the evaluation was approved. The content of this email is customizable.

If there’s a valid certificate for the evaluated event, Workshop Butler generates and attaches the certificate to the email.

Workshop Butler won’t send a notification to an attendee on the evaluation approval if you already created and sent a certificate to this attendee.

Only approved evaluations are included in event and facilitator ratings.


For some reason, you may decide to reject an evaluation. In this case, the evaluation gets Rejected status.

Workshop Butler sends an email to the attendee notifying that the evaluation was rejected and asked to contact the facilitator for the explanation.
